Buzzed-about indie warbler, FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE drifts in a bright shiny space between lesbo-pop and indie-electro folk, and we couldn't be more pleased with her recent video for The Dog Days are Over. Upon viewing, we noticed Florence using a very effective music video theme of personifying the elements of the music with live action.

The AVALANCHES pioneered this effect with Frontier Psychiatrist, an ambient trip through late night television static and spaghetti western gunfire sounds.
