In conjunction with the Los Angeles Film Festival, WCIP transformed a once iconic theater in downtown LA into a Old Hollywood-inspired oasis reminiscent of a bygone era of entertainment. Several days of events were hosted by Broad Green Pictures, Vimeo, IndieWire, Filmmakers Alliance, Tugg and IndieGogo - each drawing a well-curated crowd. Tucked inside the forgotten 20th century Variety Arts Theater, the reinvented clubhouse took its cues from the decadent old movie sets. Lounging on deco-era theatrical furnishings, guests enjoyed intimate and experimental performances while watching the epic California sunsets unfold amidst a lush indoor forest of live palms.
